2023 Master Logger Water Protection Workshop

- Credits for: Society of American Foresters & Master Logger Certification, others pending
Employees, foremen and owners of Master Logger Certified® companies should join us for an outside, interactive workshop that will cover protecting Water Resources through BMP’s, harvest planning, oil/diesel spill best practices and protecting Riparian habitats. This workshop is for Master Logger Certified companies, but other loggers, foresters, landowners, municipal officials are encouraged to attend pending space.
This workshop will focus on:
- BMP closeout methods
- BMP’s for roads, ditches and culverts
- Oil Spill Handling-IFW
- Protecting Riparian Habitat
Each logger will enter their name and company name to win a wooden skidder bridge! The more employees you bring the better the chances! We will also be giving away spill kits! Each attendee will receive a Maine BMP Manual.
